I am Tan Ru Shuen, I am going to update on my individual progress on my content page.

I added a mouse over effect on the photo and video bar. When the user mouse over it then it will appears to be like a bookmark.

I have also justified all the contents.

Individual Work Progress - Photo Gallery Page (Chong Shin Ling)

This is my work on the photo gallery. I will be using the same background for each of the events.


Then I will use a white background and a little bit of transparent to make the background barely visible.


Next I place all the pictures' in thumbnail format.


Then when the user click on the picture then it will enlarge and with the photo's descriptions.


Thanks to Vincent's back button, there will be a back button in the photo gallery.

Individual Work Progress - Home Page (Pong Kai Lun)

Good evening, the screen shot above is our home page for City Spy section. I used Adobe Illustrator to trace the picture of all the landmarks or animal for each country. Then I make the home page to look like this which is black and white or gray scale because when the user mouse over the picture then the picture will enlarge out and then the picture is filled with colors and it will shown some of the descriptions for the particular landmark or animal. Which each of the pictures will be like all the following screen shots,

We had done our presentation, then we received few comments on our work. So now we are going to do:

1. Summarize all the contents.

2. Adding title and captions on the video.

3. The arrow direction on the menu bar face downwards to indicate that it is a drop down menu.

4. Edit the button sound effect to a softer sound or directly no sound effect for the button.

5. Credit page bio profile edit to which section the person handles.

Journal Reflection (Chong Meng)

1. How is your understanding of the topic after doing the project? Understanding about interactive multimedia?

After doing this project, I get to know on how difficult to create a magazine. I will have to study and do as much researches as I can to write out a section in the magazine. I learn on how to create a simple and easy interactions in an online magazine or anything to do with interactive multimedia. It look easy to be achieve but when started to do it, it ain't easy at all.

2. What were the problems faced since Proposal 2? How did you/your team solve your group problems?

The problems are did not know how to create interactivity on a certain buttons and also pages. We as a team by sitting together and discuss about the problems we faced, then we will solve it by searching around internet and some problems such as scroll bars and music player, we solved it by consulting Ms Joyce, Ms Heidi, and Ms Sally.

3. What would you do differently next time?

I will definitely do research of a certain topic first before start doing or creating a prototype out.

4. How is your motivation level?

I am highly motivated in this project by all of my team mates. They have been constantly contributing in this project, and they take this project seriously which make me feel very motivated as I am not the only one who take this project seriously.

5. How was working with your group?

We work on together as a team very well. Although there are some idea conflicts but still we get on with it by majority votes or voices. We always do this project together, as in five of us have to be there to start doing a page or each of the respective task.

6. How was it working on the project?

We always do this project together as this method will avoids or solves any confusions or any problems. Whenever problem occurs, we will solve it as a team. Never work alone as we believe that five brains are far more better than a single brain.

7. Update on what you have been writing previously.

I wrote few researches on my topic which is the layouts and designs of my page.

8. How were your teammates?

They are all very cooperative, creative, innovative and hardworking.

9. Personal evaluation of your own effort and that of your team.

I would say, 100% of my efforts being thrown in this project as my team will be 100% too as we always work on this project together all the time. We believe this project will be our best piece of works so far.

Journal Reflections (Kai Lun)

1. How is your understanding of the topic after doing the project? Understanding about interactive multimedia?

My understanding of this topic after doing the project is that if I never do well planning in pre authoring stage, it will be a disaster for the entire project. I will have to do a well planning in pre authoring before proceed to the next stage. Besides, I also learn that the 2/3 rule in design which is fairly important in this project.

2. What were the problems faced since Proposal 2? How did you/your team solve your group problems?

We faced couple of problems in our project such as buttons, did not know how to navigate the button to link to another page, did not know how to create scroll bar, and lastly we had problem with the music player. We able to find solutions pretty fast due to we always work in team. Most of our solutions are found from Youtube videos. Those free tutorials for Adobe Flash which we find it pretty useful. Besides, we also consulted Ms Joyce, Ms Heidi and Ms Sally to solve the music player and the scroll bar.

3. What would you do differently next time?

I will do all of my projects in a proper planning and go stage by stage which is pre authoring to collect and research on the topic, then next authoring to create and plan navigation, then lastly post authoring to compile and deliver the topic.

4. How is your motivation level?

I am motivated by all of my group members’ spirit in this project.

5. How was working with your group/group leader?

I am happy to work with all of them. We all do have some conflicts in between the brainstorming sections, but the group leader, he has been doing good job by confronting and solving the conflicts by doing voting style to conclude and accept the idea.

6. How was it working on the project?

When there are ideas conflicts, then this mean that our group has a lot of ideas. We are able to pick the best ideas among all the good ideas. We have the rights to vote and comment on the idea. This way we can enhance and innovate the good ideas to become best ideas together.

7. Update on what you have been writing previously.

I have wrote few researches on my topic which is the layouts, designs of my page and my page contents.

8. How were your teammates?

They are very cooperative, friendly and full of inspirations.

9. Personal evaluation of your own effort and that of your team.

I have put all of my efforts into this project while my group members too as we have been doing this project together all the time.

Malaysia- Puma Create Your Style Spring/Summer Collection Party content

Description
In celebration of the latest Spring/Summer Collection, Puma threw an unforgettable party with Taiwan superstars Da Mouth on the 27th of February at The Opera, Sunway Pyramid! Fans of the brand were treated to a performance by Malaysian band Couple, a colorful fashion show showcasing the Spring/Summer Collection and an electrifying act by Da Mouth!
The Taiwanese superstars also took the time to meet their fans at the Sunway Pyramid Puma retail outlet. Finalists from the ‘Create Your Style’ online coloring contest and some lucky fans battled out in a series of games to win the prize of RM 300 cash and vouchers worth RM 200, all in courtesy of Puma.



PUMA roars into 2010 with their Spring/Summer Collection, featuring Taiwanese superstars Da Mouth.



Da Mouth performing at the PUMA Create Your Style party on 27 February (8pm, at The Opera, Sunway Pyramid), alongside performances by local DJs.



Fashion show was another additional feature in the PUMA Create Your Style party.



Participants registering for the “dafinalframe” contest where all the they have to do is to create the last frame of the comic and they’ll stand a chance to win many great prizes!
