Layout Research: Alice in Wonderland Disney Site

After doing the research on the topic, I had look for some reference of flash site on the internet about layout design and design concept. The Disney official web site of Alice in Wonderland had caught my attention.

This web site using a very common web site layout which consist of three main section: header on top, menu on left and content on right. The color of the web design are mainly dark color, this produce a mysterious feel to the audience. The background music also play a very important role in creating the mysterious and fantasy atmosphere. Although the color of the web design are mainly dark color, but as you can see from the second and third screen shot above, the background is stand from colorful and bright colors which creates the fantasy atmosphere.
