Hundreds of fashion lovers, fashion icons, photographers and designers made their way to the Laguna Resort & Spa on the 3rd of October for a presentation by the Indonesian Fashion Designers Associations (APPMI) and the Bali Creative Community. Fashion Tendance 2010 gave all those present a chance to view the latest works of designers inspired by both Indonesian cultural heritage and the world beyond, but this year, with a twist. With the theme “Legacy for the Future”, the innovative designs were presented in a collaboration with interior, graphic, accessory and product designers and artists in an exhibition format. After two Fashion Shows outside, the rest of the designers were presented inside the ballroom in booth-like stalls. All in all, this year’s “Fashion Tendance” was an inspiring presentation and once again shows the APPMI leading the way in local fashion design.
