Philippines Sunsilk Co-Creations Contents

Fashion week is not just about clothes and shoes – it is always interesting to see what the designers come up with when it comes to their models’ crowning glory. Some hairstyles are completely weird, but there are others that are truly so beautiful that they inspire you to try them as well. Unfortunately, unlike celebrities and models that have the means to change the look of their hair at a moment’s notice, many of us, who only have regular beauty budgets, would have to stick to affordable means to keep locks healthy and beautiful.
To showcase how beautiful hair is important to great style, Sunsilk Co-Creations sponsored a special segment for Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010, last Wednesday, May 26. Hosted by Sarah Meier, the event featured the country’s eight top fashion designers. These designers were then divided into four teams and were tasked to co-create fashion versions of the four shampoo variants of Sunsilk Co-Creations – Straight and Sway, Strong and Long, Smooth and Manageable, and Damage Repair.

Sunsilk Co-Creations Photos and Descriptions:

simple, fluid, and wearable. Not too sure about one on the right, though. Looks too restraining to me to be worn on a hot day.

The models, all sleek in deep pink and purple dresses, showed how straight-flowing hair can look equally beautiful without too much styling.

Interpreted the brand’s Strong and Long hair shampoo through fur-like, flowy dresses that are soft and light, mostly in light and dark moss green shades accompanied with gold accessories.

Relaxed, soft, and feminine, the ladies looked effortlessly chic. Adorned with pearl necklaces, the dresses were delicate and flowery.

The strong color highlighted the very intricate details of the dresses, while the light orange sorbet-colored frocks were instinctively reminiscent of the revitalizing scent of citrus.

A night of high fashion, beauty, and expertise, it must have been a great challenge for the designers to embody the hair products through fashion.
